About our Food
The Walnut Tree…..the place to be if you need Gluten Free!!
We are pleased to be able to serve nearly 90% of our main menu gluten free if required! If you have a gluten intolerance please let us know and we will prepare nearly any meal from our menu personally for you to ensure it is gluten free. This even means that you can enjoy our fabulous Sunday roasts with all the trimmings as we we will prepare gluten free gravy and our fantastic homemade Yorkshires especially for you.
Our Famous Sunday Roast
Served all day Sunday from 12:00
Find out why people travel from three counties to experience our Sunday roast. Using only the finest joints we slow roast a selection of four of them for hours and accompany them with at least eight different potato and vegetable choices, giant homemade Yorkshire puddings, sauces and gravies.
Remember…if you need a gluten free roast then we’re the place, as we offer gluten free gravy, stuffing and Yorkies if you need them!
Booking is always advisable, but we serve all day so you never have to worry about missing out!
Parents please note…if your kids are like ours, it’s anything for a quiet life. If there’s any other dish we can rustle up to keep the peace, just ask and we’ll do our best. Failing that we have the cellar where short term accommodation can be arranged at very short notice…..no charge!
